I’d love to see this movie. My favorite Brittany movie is “Don’t Say A Word”, another psychological thriller and I think she is just amazing in that genre. 	JAVEN's Latest Film "The Lost Woman" to Debut in October On September 6th, the "The Lost Woman" film made it's world premiere at the Ireland International Film Festival. On October 15th, the film will make it's domestic premiere at La Femme Film Festival in Beverly Hills. 	JAVEN SHARES STAGE WITH GENERAL COLLIN POWELL Recently JAVEN had the opportunity to share the stage with one of America's beloved heroes. General Collin Powell spoke at the GM Seminar in San Josa, CA on Tuesday March 24th, 2009 in front of a crowd of about 20,000 people. JAVEN then took to the stage after the General was done speaking and sung a rendition of his hit single "Keeping the Faith." When asked about the event JAVEN shared that he got a chance to shake General Powell's hand and that it was one of the highlights of his career to date. Kudos to JAVEN and the General for sharing a positive message to the people of San Josa.

	AN INCREDIBLE TESTIMONY We wanted to share a powerful email we just received testifying of God's faithfulness in times of need: I purchased your cd at the Juanita Bynum conference in St. Louis Mo. I can’t remember how many years ago that was. But it took awhile before I decided to listen to the cd. It took even longer to send this email. I am now 33 yrs. Old and I know the transformation that occurred in my life was at thirty years old and your cd was part of that transformation. I have wanted to send this for so long. I am a gospel singer and other than pleasing the Lord the next biggest goal in singing gospel music is to be the link between a person and the Holy Spirit. Anything to aid a person in getting closer to the Lord. Because I understand the joy of a singer it was so important that you know what your cd did in my life. I had years and years of strongholds. One day I decided to physically move me and my children from all the people that were helping my bondage stay strong. As I sat in my new apartment I said to myself,” now what Lord?” Well everyday I drove to work (I now had a long commute) and sang your entire cd with ALL my heart and soul to the Lord. This went on for three months. Then one day I looked up and I was free. All the behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and fears were gone. I realized that every morning I was fully engulfed in the spirit; holding on to every word in every song. With time I came to believe and trust every word. That daily encounter had cleansed my spirit completely; I was delivered. Completely. Three almost four years later I know I love the Lord but most of all I know he loves me! Thank God by the grace of God my deliverance remains intact and stronger than ever. So as I sit at my desk listening to your cd even today I can only say, “Thank you Jesus and Thank you Javen”. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you and your gift to heal the world. Thank you.

	Javen Performs for Homeless Mothers This past Mother's Day weekend Javen performed in downtown Los Angeles, CA for mothers who were homeless. Javen join the Union Rescue Mission which houses hundreds of misplaced women, men and children throughout the LA area along with county officials to honor the mothers who are homeless. "We try to give back in any way we can," said Javen. Special guest speaker included Dr. Bam Crawford senior pastor of Bible Enrichment Christian Life Center. The event took place in down town LA on Friday afternoon. The ladies were serenaded by Javen, uplifted by the encouraging teaching of Dr. Bam, and given special gifts and awards. Javen says, "this is just one of many things I like to be apart of to help people even if it's in small ways."

	Paramount Studios premiere for "How She Move" Javen recently attended the premiere of the movie "How She Move" the movie is set to release in theaters the third weekend in January. This performance was so powerful that people where both in the seating areas as well as standing around on the sides.Random mall shoppers began to stop and come by as the music was played. 	JAVEN ATTENDS VH1 SAVE THE MUSIC Building a sound structure starts with laying a solid foundation. The groundwork for Javen’s musical talents took shape in the south Florida public school system during regular music education classes. Unfortunately today's schools are eliminating curriculums like the ones that provided Javen a springboard for success. The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in America's schools, and raising the awareness of the importance of music as a part of each child's complete education. When they invited Javen to their latest party and concert fundraiser he was honored to be involved. On Friday, December 1, The VH1 Save The Music Foundation event took place at the Esquire House 360 degrees in Beverly Hills, California. The exclusive outing was hosted by Keifer Sutherland, Jaime Pressley, Wilmer Valderama, Tyrese Gibson, Omar Epps, Gary Dourdan, and attended by stars John Mayer, ZZ Top and Angie Stone among others. The bash was a tremendous success raising thousands of dollars and generating national interest in reinvigorating music agendas in every school system in the nation. Javen is proud to be associated with the project and looks forward to future opportunities to support the effort.

	JAVEN JOINS FELLOW STARS TO FEED THE HOMELESS IN LA As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches we should all take stock of the wonderful abundance and blessings around our families and homes. For those less fortunate this time of year can be desolate, cold and desperate. On Saturday November 18th Javen will be partnering with a team of 400 volunteers to brighten the season for 4,000 of Los Angeles’ homeless. In conjunction with the Union Rescue Mission in downtown LA Javen and fellow volunteers William Sanderson (Deadwood), Tia and Tamera Mowry, producer Robin Reed, Citibank Western Division President Lisa Barrett and a host of others will be serving over 100 fried turkeys with all of the trimmings from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 545 South San Pedro Street. The day’s festivities include raffles, entertainment and a Kid's Zone. An event like this brings hope for a better future to those who feel they have been forgotten and Javen is excited to make this part of his holiday tradition.

	JAVEN STARS IN PILL HILL Hope through inspiration, accomplishment through conviction - standing values of Javen’s music and teaching endeavors - were also the basis for a drama, which recently brought Javen back to the theater.  September 29th through October 1st at Oakland, California's Laney College Theater, Javen and five fellow Los Angeles based actors, took the stage to entertain audiences during a series of performances of Samuel L. Kelly’s 'Pill Hill'.  ‘Pill Hill’ is the story of six African American friends growing up in mid 1970's Chicago.  The stage show explores their challenges, aspirations, and development - all while skillfully showcasing the pivotal social trends and movements of the era. Javen used this venture as a springboard to sharpen his ever-maturing acting repertoire for upcoming film and television projects.  During the weeks of intense preparation Javen stretched and challenged himself to deliver a standout performance.  Thoroughly impressed with his commitment and seeking to utilize Javen’s amazing singing talent, the production team reworked areas of the script to include two tracks from his personal catalog, ‘Count It Joy’ and “I’ll Be Ok’.  The results, were another unique performance by a unique talent.

	JAVEN TO HOST ON MIAMI'S WMBM RADIO STATION Starting on June 9th Javen will venture yet on another platform of communication as he takes on the responsibility to co-host a weekly radio show with leading Gospel Dj "CJ Kelley" of 1490 WMBM. Javen says he is ready to venture into this new assignment and share good music with the South Florida audience. 	Javen's long awaited CD After a 3 year break from the studio Javen finally went back to record his third CD on his label jcm/jRock entertainment. 	Press Release - Javen wins 2 Gospel Marlin Awards This year's annual Marlin Awards saw great talents and new comers. One of those talented newcomers was LA base recording artist Javen. He was nominated for Male-Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Gospel Performance of the Year, and Contemporary Song of the Year for the Caribbean prestigious MARLIN AWARDS of which he won 2 of the 4 nominations. Back in LA Javen also was nominated for best Male Contemporary Solo Artist of the year at the Southern California GUILD AWARDS for his performance with the success of his debut worship CD "Change."

	Supporting role in the upcoming movie 'One Night w/ King' Javen stars in the upcoming drama "One Night With the King" opposite legendary actors like Omar Sharif, John Rhys-Davies, and Peter O'toole. This amazing feature film tells the story of the bible character "Esther" and her redemption to power and leadership by saving her people. Shot on location in India, this film captures this amazing love story filled with dramatic turns. Javen says, "It was an amazing feeling." 	Javen does outside concert at Les Voyous in Hollywood In LA right on Hollywood Blvd Javen belts out tunes from his latest CD 'Believer' to a standing room only crowd. It was a magical night of singing and dancing under the stars of tinsel town. This concert was sponsored by Lagniappe Media lead by promoter Howie Simon and it was hosted by Ivana Ma from the third season of Donald Trump's the Apprentice. In his live interview there on stage Javen said, "it's the passion of music that makes me want to be here any night of the week." And passion we did hear from bumping tunes like "Celebrate" to love ballads like "Then Came You," Javen reminds us why good singing has the power to pull together a diverse audience of listeners including some of Hollywood's finest actors and entertainers. Javen says he'll do more local concerts as time allows. So be on the look out for this dynamic entertainer. What a night!
